Property Survey

Day 6 - 994 days to go

Today I have a good but slow jog at the beautiful KLCC park. The park seems to be big relative to the low number of people doing exercise there.

Somehow many people forget to invest in or maintain their physical and mental which is the most valuable asset that they own. I have a colleague received his blood test end last year with some critical findings to his health condition but he has yet to do a follow up checkup on it. I asked him why he is like many people who care more about their car etc than their own body when come to maintenance. Most people remember or ensure their cars are well maintained but not their own body.

I went to check out a few properties at Jalan Ampang, Jalan Tun Razak and section 13, PJ. Learned some new tricks used by developers such as mark up price and give discount so that buyers feel good and can also help buyers to get higher amount of financing from the marked up price. Other goodies include partial furnished with electronic appliances, pay for interest during construction, free legal and S & P fees, guaranteed returns for two years and so on.

Nowadays price range for service apartment, SOHO and condo is between RM700 to RM1000 at the above location. Just wonder how fresh graduates can afford to buy a unit.

Lots of variable besides location and the reputation of the property developer need to be factored in for a good property investment decision.
